Enjoy a taste of Life at Eastbank Court

Enjoy a taste of Life at Eastbank Court

THOSE who are looking to downsize to a more manageable home can enjoy a flavour of things to come at Eastbank Court in Worcester.

Aspen Retirement Living is holding an open day on Saturday, June 30th to showcase the benefits of moving to Eastbank Court.

From 10am until 2pm, over tea, coffee and homemade cakes visitors will be able to discover that downsizing doesn’t have to mean compromising. In fact, they could find that their lifestyle is upgraded as the development offers hotel-style living in stylish, spacious apartments with excellent support services.

Liz Herring, sales and marketing manager for Aspen Retirement Living, explained: “The open day is a chance for prospective purchasers to see for themselves just how good life could be if they choose to move here. They’ll be able to look around at the facilities, meet the friendly support staff as well as having an opportunity to talk to people who have already moved.

“Family members are also welcome as we want to reassure them that their parents or grandparents are in good hands. Our benchmark when designing, planning and looking after a development is always ‘would I want my mother to live here?’

“We’ve really raised the bar in retirement living at Eastbank Court and there’s nowhere quite like it in the Worcester area. Some people have even said it’s like living in a hotel thanks to the great atmosphere, friendly support staff and range of communal facilities including a licensed bar and a restaurant.”

The restaurant offers everything from a slice of cake to three course meals, all served by waitresses. Bookings can be made so that home owners can invite their friends and family to dinner but not have to worry about cooking or the washing up.

In fact, housework could also be a thing of the past as regular domestic help is included and additional chores such as ironing or shopping can be taken care of for a small fee.

The next phase, which will be available from the end of August, will include a conservatory style lounge, a library, hair salon and beauty treatment room, plus an activity room where home owners will be able to enjoy their favourite hobbies.

Eastbank Court is managed by the Kingsdale Group and personal care is provided by Bloomsbury Care, both specialists in their fields and staff from both firms are committed to ensuring home owners’ safety and comfort.

There’s a manager on site at all times so if someone needs help they won’t need to go through a remote call centre and should be assisted within minutes

And those who may need some extra care either now or in the future ¬– perhaps getting up, bathing or going to bed – will be able to access extra help as and when they need it.
